What areas do you service?

We currently provide rentals to Sydney and Melbourne areas, including surrounding suburbs.

What if the vehicle breaks down?

Xtreme Rentals provides 24-hour roadside assistance. If the breakdown is due to the vehicle’s condition, we will provide a replacement or repair as soon as possible.

Is there a kilometre limit for the rental vehicle?

For private and domestic use, there is no daily kilometre limit. However, for commercial vehicles, a daily limit of 100 or 200 kilometres applies unless otherwise stated in the Rental Agreement.

Do I need to refuel the vehicle before returning it?

Yes, the vehicle must be returned with a full tank of fuel, or refuelling charges will apply.

What happens if I get a traffic fine or toll during the rental?

You are responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, tolls, and any associated administrative fees incurred during the rental period.

Who is allowed to drive the rental vehicle?

Only the person named on the Rental Agreement or any authorised driver who meets the age and license requirements may drive the vehicle.

What is the cooling-off period if I'm unsatisfied with the rental?

You can return the vehicle within 30 minutes of the rental start for a full refund (excluding fuel charges per kilometre).

Can I take the vehicle outside of New South Wales or Victoria?

The vehicle cannot be driven outside NSW or VIC unless you have prior written permission, which may involve additional fees.

What is covered under the Damage Cover?

Damage Cover includes protection for accidents or theft, but you must pay the Loss Damage Excess (LDE). There is no cover for drivers under 25 or over 69 or for specific damages such as underbody or overhead damage.

Can I drive the rental vehicle in snow conditions?

The vehicle must not be driven above the Snow Line unless appropriate snow chains are fitted, and a snow fee of $9.99 per day is paid.
